September 7, 2024: Acton, CA 93510 Vasquez Mustangs (Acton, CA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Antelope Valley Antelopes (Lancaster, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Vasquez advances its record to 4-6 on the season. The Mustangs host St. Monica Academy (Montrose, CA) to face the Crusaders in a Heritage test on Tuesday, September 10. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 1-5. St. Monica Academy lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Hoover (Glendale, CA)
The Antelopes now sport a 1-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Quartz Hill for a Golden test on Tuesday, September 10. Antelope Valley will face a Royals squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Highland (Palmdale, CA). The Royals record now stands at 6-5.
