September 7, 2024: Manchester, IA 52057 West Delaware Hawks (Manchester, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Belle Plaine Plainsmen (Belle Plaine, IA), 2-0 in a league test.
With the win, West Delaware improves its record to 12-0 on the season. The Hawks travel to Marion (Marion, IA) to face the Wolves in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 6-3. Marion won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA)
The Plainsmen now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montezuma for a test on Monday, September 9. Belle Plaine will face a Braves squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over South Tama County (Tama, IA). The Braves record now stands at 3-5.
