September 7, 2024: Belleville, MI 48111 Belleville Tigers (Belleville, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Melvindale Cardinals (Melvindale, MI), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Belleville improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Tigers host Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI) to encounter the Railsplitters in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Railsplitters go into the test with a record of 4-9. Lincoln lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Dundee (Dundee, MI)
The Cardinals now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thurston for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Melvindale will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Arbor Prep (Ypsilanti, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
