The Jonesboro Cardinals volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Islands Sharks to 0 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cardinals now have a 17-9 record. They play next when they host Eagle's Landing Christian Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 10. Jonesboro will play a Chargers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Woodstock (Woodstock, GA). The Chargers record now stands at 14-8.
