September 7, 2024: Bessemer, AL 35023 Moody Blue Devils (Moody, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Oak Grove Tigers (Bessemer, AL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Moody improves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Leeds (Leeds, AL) to face the Greenwave in a 5A Area 11 test on Tuesday, September 10. The Greenwave go into the test with a record of 3-4. Leeds lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL)
The Tigers now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookwood for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. Oak Grove will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Central (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-5.
