September 7, 2024: Mesa, AZ 85201 Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Westwood Warriors (Mesa, AZ), 2-0 in a league test.
With the win, Mountain View advances its record to 5-7 on the season. The Toros host Highland (Gilbert, AZ) to face the Hawks in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 15-3. Highland won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ)
The Warriors now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williams Field for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. Westwood will face a Black Hawks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ). The Black Hawks record now stands at 8-4.
