September 7, 2024: Oelwein, IA 50662 Spectators at Saturday's league bout between the Oelwein Huskies (Oelwein, IA) and the visiting North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA), witnessed Oelwein's volleyball team gain a win over North Cedar by a margin of 2-0.
The Huskies now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Union for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 10. Oelwein will clash with a Knights team coming off a 2-0 league win over North Tama (Traer, IA). The Knights record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, North Cedar drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA) to clash with the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 12. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a record of 2-7. East Buchanan lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lisbon (Lisbon, IA)
