September 8, 2022: Covington, GA 30014 The Alcovy Tigers football team (Covington, GA), was beaten 27-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA)
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Heritage (Conyers, GA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Heritage was beaten by Salem (Conyers, GA), 26-16, in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Rockdale County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 15. Alcovy will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 31-0 non-league loss to Newton (Covington, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
