South Carolina High School Football - R-S Central drops to Chesnee
September 8, 2022: Chesnee, SC 29323 In Thursday's non-league game, the Chesnee Eagles (Chesnee, SC) football team knocked off the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), by a final score of 40-14.
The Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Woodruff (Woodruff, SC). The Wolverines come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Woodruff was dropped by J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC), 28-0, in a non-league game.
The Hilltoppers now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hendersonville for a non-league game on Thursday, September 15. R-S Central will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 48-0 non-league win over Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-2.
