In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys soccer team scored a nice 9-1 win over the High Point Central Bison.

With the win, Southwest Guilford moves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC) to battle the Whirlies in a Metro 4A outing on Tuesday, September 13. The Whirlies go into the outing with a record of 3-4. Grimsley won 7-0 in their recent non-league outing against North Davidson (Lexington, NC)
