New York High School Soccer - Riverhead knocks off Miller Place
September 8, 2022: Miller Place, NY 11764 Riverhead Blue Waves (Riverhead, NY) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Miller Place Panthers (Miller Place, NY), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Blue Waves face the Wyandanch Warriors (Wyandanch, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Riverhead will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Copiague (Copiague, NY).
The Panthers now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Islip for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 10. Miller Place will face a Redmen team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Mount Sinai (Mount Sinai, NY). The Redmen record now stands at 4-0.
