Georgia High School Softball - LaFayette bounces Ridgeland
September 8, 2022: Rossville, GA 30741 LaFayette Ramblers (LaFayette, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ridgeland Panthers (Rossville, GA), 6-1 in a league challenge.
The Ramblers now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they host Calhoun for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 12. LaFayette will battle a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 12-6 league win over Cass (White, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 11-3.
With the loss, Ridgeland falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Bremen (Bremen, GA) to battle the Blue Devils in a 3A Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, September 13. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 13-4.
