September 8, 2022: Woodstock, GA 30188 In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Pope Greyhounds softball team scored a close 6-5 win over the River Ridge Knights.
Coming up next, the Greyhounds encounter the Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA) in a 6A Region 7 outing, on Tuesday, September 13. Pope will attempt to upgrade on its 15-1 season record. The Trojans enter the outing with a 13-2 record after their 14-0 league win over Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA).
The Knights (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Harrison (Kennesaw, GA). The Hoyas enter the non-league outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Harrison tipped Campbell (Smyrna, GA), 9-5, in a non-league outing.
