Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers (Waynesfield, OH) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Allen East Mustangs (Harrod, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 10. Waynesfield-Goshen will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 3-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Van Buren (Van Buren, OH).

With the loss, Elgin drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Shekinah Christian (Plain City, OH) to clash with the Flames in a non-league match on Saturday, September 10.
