South Carolina High School Volleyball - King Academy over Wardlaw Academy
September 8, 2022: Johnston, SC 29832 King Academy Knights (Batesburg, SC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Wardlaw Academy Patriots (Johnston, SC), 3-1 in a league match.
Next up, the Knights battle the South Aiken Baptist Christian CRUSADERS (Aiken, SC) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 12. King Academy will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The CRUSADERS come into the match with a 0-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Community Christian Academy (Martinez, GA).
With the loss, Wardlaw Academy drops to 6-6 on the year. The Patriots travel to Valwood (Valdosta, GA) to face the Valiants in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 10. The Valiants go into the contest with a record of 11-6. Valwood won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Community Christian (Tallahassee, FL)
