North Carolina High School Volleyball - Lee County crushed by Pinecrest

September 8, 2022: Sanford, NC 27330

The Pinecrest Patriots topped the host Lee County Yellow Jackets volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Patriots now have a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Millbrook for a non-league test on Saturday, September 10. Pinecrest will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-0.

The Yellow Jackets (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Raiders enter the Sandhills 3A/4A test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Richmond was knocked off by Union Pines (Cameron, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
