In Thursday's league contest, the Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL) volleyball squad edged the host Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Indians battle the Flanagan-Cornell Falcons (Flanagan, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 12. Pontiac will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 6-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Tri-Valley (Downs, IL).

With the loss, Prairie Central drops to 7-4 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL) to battle the Sabers in a Illini Prairie contest on Saturday, September 10. The Sabers come into the contest with a record of 2-2. St. Thomas More lost 2-0 in their recent league contest against Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL)
