Pennsylvania High School Football - Central Catholic topples Bethel Park

September 8, 2023: Pittsburgh, PA 15213

The Central Catholic Vikings (Pittsburgh, PA) football defeated the visiting Bethel Park Black Hawks (Bethel Park, PA), 62-46 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL AAAAAA Tri-County Five bout, on Friday, September 15. Central Catholic will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 20-17 non-league win over Moon Area (Moon Township, PA).

The Black Hawks (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA). The Big Macs enter the non-league bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Canon-McMillan defeated Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA), 38-0, in a league bout.
