In Friday's non-league game, the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders (Harrisburg, PA) football team knocked off the visiting La Salle College Explorers (Wyndmoor, PA), by a final score of 47-21.

The Crusaders (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Palmyra (Palmyra, PA). The Cougars come into the Mid-Penn - Keystone game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Palmyra toppled Donegal (Mt. Joy, PA), 21-14, in a non-league game.

The Explorers now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Haverford School for a non-league game on Thursday, September 14. La Salle College will battle a Fords team coming off a 50-8 non-league win over Academy Park (Sharon Hill, PA). The Fords record now stands at 1-1.
