Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they saw their football team wallop the visiting Chelsea Red Devils (Chelsea, MA), 40-6 in a non-league game.

The Sachems (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Northeast Metro RVT (Wakefield, MA). The Knights come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Northeast Metro RVT overwhelmed Lowell Catholic (Lowell, MA), 62-35, in a non-league game.
