In Friday's non-league match, the host Darlington Falcons football squad scored a good 34-24 victory over the Cheraw Braves.

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Wilson Tigers (Florence, SC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 15. Darlington will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.
