September 8, 2023: Medina, TN 38355 The South Gibson Hornets (Medina, TN) football defeated the visiting Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY), 41-16 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Hornets face the University School of Jackson Bruins (Jackson, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 15. South Gibson will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Bruins enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 41-0 non-league loss to Jackson Christian (Jackson, TN).
The Colonels (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Marion (Marion, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Marion defeated Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL), 20-14, in a league bout.
