The Michigan Center Cardinals held off the host Columbia Central Golden Eagles football team by a count of 39-35 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Michigan Center upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Leslie (Leslie, MI) to encounter the Blackhawks in a Cascades - East outing on Friday, September 15. The Blackhawks go into the outing with a record of 2-1. Leslie lost 58-14 in their recent non-league outing against Addison (Addison, MI)
