The Decatur Central Hawks football team (Indianapolis, IN), was tipped 25-24 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Martinsville Artesians (Martinsville, IN)

The Artesians (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin Community (Franklin, IN). The Grizzly Cubs come into the Mid-State challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Franklin Community nipped Whiteland (Whiteland, IN), 22-21, in a league challenge.

The Hawks now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mooresville for a Mid-State challenge on Friday, September 15. Decatur Central will meet a Pioneers team coming off a 59-22 league win over Greenwood (Greenwood, IN). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-2.
