The Doniphan-Trumbull Cardinals football team (Doniphan, NE), was beaten 49-40 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines (Wilber, NE)

The Wolverines (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Fillmore Central achieved victory over Centennial (Utica, NE), 44-0, in a non-league challenge.
