South Carolina High School Football - Fairfield Central nips Lancaster

September 8, 2023: Winnsboro, SC 29180

In Friday's non-league match, the host Fairfield Central Griffins football squad scored a close 46-44 victory over the Lancaster Bruins.

In their next game, the Griffins clash with the Keenan Raiders (Columbia, SC) in a AA Region 4 match, on Friday, September 15. Fairfield Central will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 22-7 non-league win over North Central (Kershaw, SC).

The Bruins (0-4) will now prepare for their match against White Knoll (Lexington, SC). The Timberwolves enter the non-league match with a 3-0 record.
