The Tarrant Wildcats football team (Birmingham, AL), was ripped 34-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Fayette County Tigers (Fayette, AL)

The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region 5 challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Carbon Hill was ripped by Winston County (Double Springs, AL), 62-28, in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oakman for a 3A Region 5 challenge on Friday, September 15. Tarrant will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 21-12 league win over Midfield (Midfield, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
