September 8, 2023: Berne, IN 46711 The South Adams Starfires football team (Berne, IN), was beaten 34-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Heritage Patriots (Monroeville, IN)
The Patriots (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Adams Central (Monroe, IN). The Flying Jets come into the Allen County challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Adams Central achieved victory over Jay County (Portland, IN), 42-7, in a league challenge.
The Starfires now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monroe Central for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 15. South Adams will meet a Golden Bears team coming off a 30-27 non-league loss to Tri (Straughn, IN). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-3.
