September 8, 2023: Belzoni, MS 39038 Porter's Chapel Academy Eagles (Vicksburg, MS) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Humphreys Academy Rebels (Belzoni, MS), 44-6 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Porter's Chapel Academy improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Park Place Christian Academy (Pearl, MS) to battle the Crusaders in a MAIS 8-Man 2A District 3 (8 Man) test on Friday, September 15. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 1-2. Park Place Christian Academy won 54-0 in their recent league test against Hillcrest Christian (Jackson, MS)
With the loss, Humphreys Academy drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Sharkey Issaquena Academy (Rolling Fork, MS) to battle the Confederates in a non-league test on Friday, September 15. The Confederates come into the test with a record of 4-0. Sharkey Issaquena Academy won 70-0 in their recent non-league test against Kemper Academy (DeKalb, MS)
