In Friday's non-league game, the Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT) football team tipped the host Law Lawmen (Milford, CT), by a final score of 21-16.

The Falcons (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Bethel (Bethel, CT). The Wildcats come into the South-West game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Bethel was tipped by Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT), 21-0, in a non-league game.

The Lawmen now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Haven for a non-league game on Thursday, September 14. Law will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 33-23 non-league win over Staples (Westport, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-0.
