The Summertown Eagles football team (Summertown, TN), was ripped 35-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Loretto Mustangs (Loretto, TN)

The Mustangs (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lewis County (Hohenwald, TN). The Panthers come into the 2A Region 5 challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Lewis County trounced Hickman County (Centerville, TN), 34-6, in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a 2A Region 5 challenge on Friday, September 15. Summertown will meet a Tigers team coming off a 14-10 league win over Harpeth (Kingston Springs, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 4-0.
