September 8, 2023: Ninety Six, SC 29666 The Mid-Carolina Rebels football team (Prosperity, SC), was beaten 21-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Ninety Six Wildcats (Ninety Six, SC)
The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pelion (Pelion, SC). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Pelion was beaten by Gilbert (Gilbert, SC), 55-9, in a non-league challenge.
The Rebels now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Columbia for a AA Region 4 challenge on Friday, September 15. Mid-Carolina will meet a Capitals team coming off a 47-12 non-league win over Great Falls (Great Falls, SC). The Capitals record now stands at 2-2.
