Oregon High School Football - Monroe defeats Rogue River
September 8, 2023: Rogue River, OR 97537 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Monroe Dragons football squad scored a good 46-38 victory over the Rogue River Chieftains.
In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Waldport Irish (Waldport, OR) in a 2A Special District 2 (9 Man) match, on Friday, September 15. Monroe will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Irish enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 28-0 non-league win over Reedsport (Reedsport, OR).
The Chieftains (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Illinois Valley (Cave Junction, OR). The Cougars enter the 2A Special District 3 (9 Man) match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Illinois Valley ran past Oakridge (Oakridge, OR), 40-6, in a non-league match.
