September 8, 2023: New Brockton, AL 36351 The New Brockton Gamecocks football team (New Brockton, AL), was beaten 38-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Providence Christian Eagles (Dothan, AL)
The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Opp (Opp, AL). The Bobcats come into the 3A Region 2 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Opp achieved victory over Northside Methodist Academy (Dothan, AL), 19-7, in a league challenge.
The Gamecocks now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Daleville for a 3A Region 2 challenge on Friday, September 15. New Brockton will meet a Warhawks team coming off a 46-16 league loss to Straughn (Andalusia, AL). The Warhawks record now stands at 0-3.
