Oregon High School Football - North Bend topples Willamette
September 8, 2023: North Bend, OR 97459 The North Bend Bulldogs (North Bend, OR) football defeated the visiting Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR), 41-12 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Marshfield Pirates (Coos Bay, OR) in a 4A Special District 4 bout, on Friday, September 15. North Bend will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 44-26 non-league loss to Cascade (Turner, OR).
The Wolverines (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against South Eugene (Eugene, OR). The Axe enter the 5A Special District 2 bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, South Eugene lost by Cleveland (Portland, OR), 36-14, in a non-league bout.
