With the win, Chaparral upgrades its record to 10-6 on the year. The Firebirds travel to Skyline (Mesa, AZ) to play the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Friday, September 8. The Padres now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goldwater for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. Marcos de Niza will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Moon Valley (Phoenix, AZ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.
