September 8, 2023: Dyer, IN 46311 Heritage Christian Defenders (Dyer, IN) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting DeMotte Christian Knights (DeMotte, IN), 3-2 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Defenders clash with the Calumet Christian Patriots (Griffith, IN) in a South Shore Athletic match, on Monday, September 11. Heritage Christian will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Patriots come into the match with a 9-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over HomeSchool Resource Center (Monee, IL).
With the loss, DeMotte Christian drops to 6-9 on the campaign. The Knights host Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN) to clash with the Fighting Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 12. The Fighting Eagles come into the match with a record of 1-12. Lake Station Edison lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN)
