September 8, 2023: Manasquan, NJ 08736 The Manasquan Warriors held off the visiting Holmdel Hornets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's league test.
The Warriors now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Point Pleasant Beach for a Shore B - North test on Monday, September 11. Manasquan will confront a Garnet Gulls team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Brick Township (Brick, NJ). The Garnet Gulls record now stands at 0-1.
The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Wall Township (Wall, NJ). The Crimson Knights enter the Shore B - North test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Wall Township was nudged by Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ), 2-0, in a league test.
