The New Milford Green Wave volleyball team (New Milford, CT), was nudged 3-2 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Northwestern Regional Highlanders (Winsted, CT)

The Highlanders (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Gilbert (Winsted, CT). The Yellowjackets enter the Berkshire challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Gilbert was nudged by Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Green Wave encounter the Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 9. New Milford will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
