September 8, 2023: London, KY 40744 The Trimble County Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host South Laurel Cardinals to 0 in the Raiders non-league victory on Friday.
The Raiders now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bullitt Central for a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. Trimble County will meet a Cougars team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 5-4.
The Cardinals (5-11) will now prepare for their game against Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY). The Bluebirds enter the non-league game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Highlands gained a win over Holy Cross (Covington, KY), 3-0, in a non-league game.
