Tennessee High School Soccer - Ooltewah nudges DeKalb County
September 8, 2024: Smithville, TN 37166 Fans at Sunday's non-league battle between the Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN) and the host DeKalb County Tigers (Smithville, TN), saw Ooltewah's soccer squad hold off DeKalb County by a count of 1-0.
The Owls (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences (Chattanooga, TN). The Patriots enter the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences was edged by Boyd-Buchanan (Chattanooga, TN), 5-4, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Tigers battle the Livingston Academy Wildcats (Livingston, TN) in a AA District 7 battle, on Tuesday, September 17. DeKalb County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
