Pennsylvania High School Football - William Allen can't hold off Pleasant Valley
September 8, 2025: Brodheadsville, PA 18322 Pleasant Valley Bears (Brodheadsville, PA) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team tip the visiting William Allen Canaries (Allentown, PA), 14-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Pleasant Valley improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bears host Parkland (Allentown, PA) to play the Trojans in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Parkland won 28-8 in their recent non-league battle against Northampton (Northampton, PA)
The Canaries now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host East Stroudsburg South for a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. William Allen will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 12-6 non-league loss to Whitehall (Whitehall, PA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-2.
