Kentucky High School Soccer - Whitley County knocks off South Laurel
September 8, 2025: Williamsburg, KY 40769 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) and the visiting South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY), saw Whitley County's soccer squad prevail over South Laurel by a count of 4-0.
The Colonels (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Casey County (Liberty, KY). The Rebels enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Casey County by Russell County (Russell Springs, KY), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Cardinals now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11.
