North Carolina High School Football - Robbinsville defeated by Swain County
September 8, 2025: Bryson City, NC 28713 The Swain County Maroon Devils were victorious over the visiting Robbinsville Black Knights football team by a score of 40-14 in Monday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Maroon Devils face the Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Swain County will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 42-12 non-league win over Avery County (Newland, NC).
The Black Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rosman (Rosman, NC). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Rosman ran past Andrews (Andrews, NC), 8-0, in a league challenge.
