September 8, 2025: Columbus, OH 43227 Patriot Prep Academy Eagles (Columbus, OH) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Central Crossing Comets (Grove City, OH), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Patriot Prep Academy moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Pickerington Central (Pickerington, OH) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-4.
The Comets now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Ready for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9. Central Crossing will confront a Silver Knights squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Amanda-Clearcreek (Amanda, OH). The Silver Knights record now stands at 0-5.
