The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Richlands (Richlands, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Richlands by East Duplin (Beulaville, NC), 4-1, in a non-league test.
The Bears now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Lenoir for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 10. New Bern will meet a Hawks team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 2-3.
