September 8, 2025: Matthews, NC 28105 Union Day Gryphons (Weddington, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the host Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), 9-0 in a non-league outing.
The Gryphons (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Stallions go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Queen's Grant was overwhelmed by Union Day (Weddington, NC), 9-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Stallions confront the Union Day Gryphons (Weddington, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 11. Queen's Grant will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
