September 8, 2025: Chicago, IL 60637 Air Force Academy Falcons (Chicago, IL) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the host Hyde Park Thunderbirds (Chicago, IL), 2-0 in a league outing.
The Falcons (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against South Shore International (Chicago, IL). The Tars go into the Chicago Public Open Division outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, South Shore International got by Morgan Park (Chicago, IL), 5-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Chicago Military Academy Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public Open Division outing, on Monday, September 15. Hyde Park will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 8-3 league loss to Englewood Stem (Chicago, IL).
