September 8, 2025: Asheboro, NC 27203 The Asheboro Blue Comets soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting High Point Central Bison to 1 in the Blue Comets non-league victory on Monday.
The Blue Comets now hold a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ragsdale for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 10. Asheboro will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, High Point Central moves to 2-4 on the year. The Bison travel to Glenn (Kernersville, NC) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 10.
