September 8, 2025: Huntersville, NC 28078 The Cannon Cougars the host Lake Norman Charter Knights soccer team by a tally of 2-0 in Monday's non-league contest.
Next, the Cougars face the Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers (Charlotte, NC) in a NCISAA Charlotte contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Cannon will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Buccaneers enter the contest with a 4-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA).
The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Spartans enter the Catawba Shores 2A/3A/4A challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Community School of Davidson nudged West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC), 5-1, in a non-league challenge.
